Chuck Redding and Fred Girvin had a great day on the water for the Bella Finn Vacation Rental Southport Slugfest. They fished hydrilla all day and put together a 20.05 pound stringer that included the lunker of the day, a beautiful 7.71 pounder, to anchor their bag. They stayed in Toho all day. Our second place team of Pete Wilk and Danny Stringer also stayed away from the lock and found some good ones swimming in the offshore vegetation. their 17.75 pound bag earned them a nice check. Third place went to Michael Medina and David Mangrum. They went down to Cypress and played in the hydrilla as well. They captured 16.30 pounds for the day. Another good tournament everyone.

Great Job Chip Pinner & James Cheek. 1st Place 21.72 lbs with Big Fish 8.36lbs

Jeff and Jared Crandon won the Walpole Okeechobee Shootout by finding some fish early in the residential channels. After a quick limit was secured, they went to the outside edges of the lake and took out the flippin gear. They culled all their early fish and brought in 17.02 to win. Don and Kenny Garand went down to the Ox Island area and put the frogs to use to bring in 16.11 to claim the second place prize. Third went to Carl Powers and Matt Smith who stayed in Tin House and caught 15.76 to claim third. Mike and Pam Hardy caught the lunker of the tourney on a crankbait in the river. She went 7.40. Lots of limits were brought to the scales. Congrats everyone.
