Becoming a member of Bay Area Bassmasters opens many doors for all anglers. Regardless of age, you can compete for our Team Anglers of the Year (TAOY) awards. Anyone over the age of 18 also has the opportunity to qualify to fish in the upcoming Bassmasters Classic. Bay Area Bassmasters is a club that provides something for everyone, whether you're an avid experienced angler, or someone who is new to the sport, we want to invite you to join us and experience the sheer fun of tournament bass fishing at it's best. Mike Hardy and Tom Mahoney win the Boyette Family Farms Winterhaven Fish and Ski tournament with 21.94 that included an 8.82 pound lunker. They caught this stringer with a flippin stick in hand in the upper end of the chain. The brothes team of Collin and Tyler Alexander earned a nice second place check with 17.81 pounds. Third belonged to Tom Craighead and Bob Grosso with 16.37 pounds of ofshore bass. Jerry Dewitt and Paul Sharp captured the dink of the month with their .85 pound beast.

Jason Bringhurst wins our Harris tournament this month with a nice 23.16 pound day to win the Cartwright Realty Harris Hussle. At the end of the day he spotted a large return with his FFS and boated a 7+ to secure the win. Second belonged to the father son team of Jeff and Jared Crandon with 20.16. Kevin Hebert and Jason Goldfarb take third with the same 20.16 The lunker of the day went to Paul and Mathew Macchia with a 7.79 pound beauty. One of 4 - 7+ pounders brought to the scales.

Jason Bringhurst used his FFS to keep himself over an offshore grassy area to boat 20.92 pounds of Lake Weir bass to win the Richards Quality Automotive Weir Rumble. Second place belonged to the team of Tom Mahoney and Mike hardy who flipped their way to a nice second place finish. Third belonged to the father son team of Joe and Jeremy Hobson who also captured the lunker of the tourney with 15.21 and a 7.68 pound lunker. Meanwhile, the team of Matt Miller and Carl Powers wrestled in a .63 pound dink to take those honors. This one just may win dink of the year.

Nice Job 1st Place Don & Kenny Garand 27.52 LBS, 2nd Place was Mike Hardy & Tom Mahoney with 21.66 LBS, and 3rd was Matt Hernandez & Dylan Casazza with 19.40 LBS.

What a rough & cold day. Congrats to Joe Craighead & Matt Hernazndez for an excellent FIRST WIN with 11.51lbs. Not a close Second was Flores & Botting with 8.33 and 3rd was Hardy & Mahoney with 7.67lbs
