WELCOME NEW MEMBERS!!

Thank you for deciding to become a member of Florida’s # 1 largest Federation Nation “Buddy" team tournament trail bass fishing club. Below is a brief description of how the Buddy team trail works.

TEAM TRAIL

After becoming members, you and your Buddy, or another member of your choice, fish together as a team through out the year. You are awarded points based on your tournament results from each month. (Tournament Rules) These points are accumulated through out the year to decide who ends up “Team Anglers of the Year” (TAOY). Adults may choose to fish with their own children as a team provided their child is a member of the kids club. (Bay Area Bassmasters is one of the only bass clubs in Florida which allows kids under 16 to fish in competition with adults). Alternates are allowed provided they are a current member of Bay Area Bassmasters. Tournaments are usually scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of each month. Our monthly meetings are always on the Tuesday before the tournament. At the end of the year, as long as you have fished at least 7 out of the 10 tournaments, you will qualify to fish in the “Classic” tournament which is a 2 day event to decide which team is the champion of the year.
